Local 9423 Premises Techs at 1051 Martin Ave. in Santa Clara

Today, the Union and Company met in formal session.  The Company gave the Union a proposal that included minor changes in its benefits plan and several date changes to wage increases and medical implementation dates.  The Company proposed a 1% increase to the pension band effective January 1, 2018 (previously it was at zero).  The parties plan to meet again on Thursday, August 4.

CWA District 9 Vice President, Tom Runnion, scheduled a meeting for tomorrow with the Bargaining Committee and AT$T Local Presidents to provide status on the progress of bargaining.  CWA President, Chris Shelton will also join the meeting via conference call.  In addition, our District Mobilization Coordinators, Louie Rocha and John Adams Jr., will be in attendance to give a presentation on mobilization and an update on planned activities.
