AT&T NIC Bargaining Report # 6: Monday, July 12, 2016
(Mobilization Trainers, NIC Chief Steward Doug Johnson, & Eric Jones, completed two Mobilization Training classes for 20 Union Stewards, was hosted and held at Local 6215, Dallas, Texas)
Your Bargaining Committee met with the company today and passed package proposals which included:
- Training and Development
- On Call Payments
- Lay Off Allowance
- Vacation Selection
- Death in Employee’s family
- Tuition Aid
- Health Care Benefits
The company feels that the union is passing frivolous proposals. Your Bargaining Team is of the mind, they don’t want this unit to survive in the future. Forget about the 20/20, since most of the positions on this contract is not included on the 20/20 Vision. The clock is ticking Mobilize and let the company know, YOU deserve to be better compensated for the work you do for this Fortune 500 company. Tell AT&T, the NIC is tired of being treated like second class employees.
MOBILIZE… MOBILIZE…. and keep Mobilizing!!!
Our Commitment is that we will work for ALL of us – OUR Contract – as long as it takes.
Thank you for your continued support and Mobilization! Keep Mobilizing and Standing United with your Union Brothers and Sisters in our Fight for a Fair Contract!
In Solidarity,
Your CWA Internet Services Bargaining Committee
