Tell the FCC: Protect My Privacy!
The Federal Communications Commission is writing new regulations on Internet access privacy.
Here's the bad news: AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast are out to stop the FCC from protecting your privacy. These Internet access providers want to share your contact information, search inquiries, site visits, and more, without your permission.
But there's good news: You have a chance to speak up.
Before the FCC drafts its new broadband Internet privacy regulations, they're asking for your input. Today, we need you to tell the FCC to keep your personal information confidential, unless you voluntarily opt-in to permit Internet access providers to share your data.
This is our chance to stand up to big Internet companies.
Tell the FCC how important privacy is today!
Right now, broadband Internet access service (BIAS) providers are pushing to delay the FCC from adopting new regulations, hoping that a new president could replace the pro-privacy majority on the Commission with industry shills.
That's why we need to speak out now and make sure that the FCC hears our message:
Internet privacy is a right, not a luxury. Our names, addresses, and Internet histories shouldn't be sold to or shared with any third parties unless we give our permission.
Tell the FCC: My privacy is much more important than Internet profiteeting!
This is too important a moment to let pass by.
