March for Public Education
Los Angeles, CA
When: December 15, 2018 at 10am
Where: Grand Park, Downtown Los Angeles
CWA locals and activists in and around Los Angeles. Mark your calendar for this event for what will be an action for the history books: public education supporters from all over LA, marching together in massive numbers to demand that we give our kids a chance and reinvest in our schools. This will be a big demonstration of our power. Talk to your members about the importance of everyone participating in the December 15 March.
Students, parents, educators: Together we raise our voice to make real changes for public schools! LAUSD superintendent Austin Beutner and the school board majority refuse to spend their $1.86 billion in reserves to support our students. Instead, they want to create conditions of austerity to justify their cuts to neighborhood schools. Join us in demanding that Beutner and the board invest in educating the children of Los Angeles — ALL of them, not some of them!
