UPTE-CWA & AFSCME 3299 Take the Streets Today
UPTE One-day ULP Strike
May 16, 2019
Our sisters and brothers of AFSCME 3299 and UPTE-CWA 9119 take to the streets today as they mount a one-day unfair labor practice (ULP) strike, citing repeated violations of California law in the University of California’s efforts to outsource thousands of good union jobs.
The statewide strike is taking place at UC’s ten campuses and five medical centers statewide.
