COLLECTIVE BARGAINING TENTATIVE AGREEMENT REACHED
Joint Statement between CWA Local 9404 and SEIU LOCAL 1021
While the struggle for working Americans gets tougher every day under an oppressive federal government that seems to only serve the wealthy, the parties are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached. Following a number of bargaining sessions, CWA Local 9404, the Union representing the professional staff of SEIU Local 1021, and SEIU Local 1021, a public services union in Northern California, reached a tentative agreement on a new contract. This tentative agreement is the result of cooperation and collaboration between all parties. At 11:58 PM on Monday, July 15th, the parties tentatively agreed to a three-year collective bargaining agreement.
Both parties endorse this agreement as statement of our unified partnership in building a Movement for the future. This tentative agreement is subject to ratification by members of CWA Local 9404 and approval of the SEIU 1021 Executive Board.
A complete summary of the tentative agreement will be shared with the CWA membership within 48 hours.
