Your CWA kicked off Bargaining with Verizon in Santa Fe Springs.
The Bargaining Committee has been preparing for the past 2 weeks to bargain with Verizon.
The Union opened up with a statement, “The CWA proposals are specifically designed to address the concerns of our members, their working lives, and the welfare of their families”.
The Company presented proposals on the following items:
- Article 19-Overtime Hours
- Article 22-Vacations
- Article 29-Differentials
- Medical Plan
- GPS
- Healthcare Contributions
- Long Term Disability
- Retiree Life Insurance
- Out of State/Out of Franchise
- Pension Survivor Benefits
- Health Reimbursement Account
- Wages
- Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association (VEBA)
