CWA Urges You to Vote NO on the Anti-Union Recall

Union-hating millionaires are funding the recall campaign against Governor Gavin Newsom. They want to replace him with an anti-worker governor to erase years of progress that we have made in California. 

In fact, one of the people running to replace Governor Newsom, Former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, made a deal with Verizon Wireless to build out broadband in San Diego, but with non-union, contracted labor. The result was strained city resources, shoddy quality, and failure to build out in underserved areas. It was a corporate giveaway that only benefited Verizon Wireless and wealthy shareholders. 

All California registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail. Vote NO on question one to reject the recall of Governor Gavin Newsom!

Governor Newsom’s Pro-Worker Record:

• Governor Newsom worked with unions to build the country’s strongest COVID -19 protections for essential workers
• He expanded COVID-related paid sick leave, signed legislation to keep workers safe and shut down unsafe workplaces
• Governor Newsom supported unions and local groups to get vaccines to essential workers
• In 2019, he signed AB 5 to crack down on worker misclassification and restore basic rights to millions of workers
