9504 STANDING IN UNITY FOR A FAIR CONTRACT
At this time, the company has yet to bring us a revised proposal on Premises Technicians. After we rejected their demeaning offer of $0.10 for added scope of work, removal of Day after Thanksgiving, cancellation of all carryover vacation and PDO’s, increased Healthcare costs and many other retrogressive proposals, we are no closer to reaching a fair Contract than we were on expiration date. The company has yet to propose a wage increase and is still not moving on their cancellation of the Employment Security Commitment.
Don’t forget increased healthcare cost for everyone, no paid illness absences for new hires and added wait days for illness absence pay for anyone with less than five years of service!
The company presented a proposal across the table yesterday which includes freezing employee’s pension benefit if they were hired after January 1, 1986. This would be effective as of January 1, 2017.
