Your Bargaining Committee has been meeting with the Company over the past couple of days working in subcommittees.  The overtime subcommittee is discussing a number of items, including the required overtime in the inside work groups, as well as the need for better and timelier communication from the Company regarding emergency declarations.

The Article 2 subcommittee went over the separation buyout offer process and the 6 month medical benefits associated with the offer.  Additionally, there was dialogue concerning the contractual language around movement of work and downsizing that affords the Union the opportunity to explore alternatives to the Company’s’ plans.

Appendix E discussion continued around the subpar work rules that the Premises Technicians are being subjected to as well as their treatment by management.

The Bargaining Committee appreciates all of the support that the members are showing us!  Please continue to wear red on Thursdays, black on Fridays and keep the pictures coming!
