AT&T Bargaining Survey #19, Tuesday, March 27, 2012
The Union presented the Company with a revision to Article 6 Time Off. The proposal is now numbered UP# 6A. The Union submitted a new proposal UP# 41 Concessions. The proposal would provide improved concessions for current and future retires. The Company let the Union know they have no interest or desire to bargain over current retirees.
The Union and the Company Tentatively Agreed (TA’d) Joint Proposal #1 on AUTS. This is an improvement for our members.
The Company rejected Union Proposal #4 Seniority. The Company feels the current seniority provisions are sufficient.
The Company rejected Union Proposal # 32 on Successorship. This is important to us in case the Company tries to sell off any of the wireline business. The Company stated they are not interested in making this change. They don’t appear to be interested in many of our proposals.
The Company also rejectedUnion Proposals 11A- Language differential, 12A- Class A Driver’s License Differential, 14A- Relief Differentials, 15A-Shift Differentials, 16A- Overtime and Call-outs and 18A- Standby Pay.
The Union countered Company Proposal #22 Contract Distribution.
With 11 days left until Contract Expiration there are still a lot of open proposals left on the table.
Let the Company know “We are not interested in their Take Backs”!
