CWA-AT&T Mobility Bargaining Report, #22, Tuesday, February 12, 2013
Bargaining resumed today and it looks like nothing has changed since the contract expiration.
The Company once again rejected our proposals on Article 22-Vacations and Article 24-Excused Days with Pay; both which would have allowed for less restrictions and more flexibility. The Company felt the need to once again stress how correcting their perceived absence problem was a top priority; however they still refuse to see how our proposals addressing the need for flexibility could help our members and the Company.
The Union presented proposals on Article 16-Safety; Article 19-Basis of Compensation and Letter of Agreement 12-Job Satisfaction.
The Bargaining committee is on call and prepared to meet at any time of the day or night.
