CWA District 9 Local President’s Meeting in Sacramento
Yesterday, May 12, CWA District 9 Vice President Tom Runnion held a meeting with all of the AT$T Local Presidents, Staff and the Union Bargaining Committee. The Bargaining Committee gave a detailed report on the status of negotiations and AT$T’s retrogressive demands. Vice President Runnion spoke to the group regarding next steps and the need for mobilization and solidarity. He also gave a report on DIRECTV negotiations where logistics are still being worked out. The mobilization team gave a report on current events within the district along with future plans for mobilization. Each of our twenty-two local presidents provided feedback to Vice President Runnion on their membership with respect to bargaining. The overall feedback is:
