Frontier Bargaining Update
Today, your Bargaining Committee met with Frontier to continue discussions regarding important items to achieve a contract. The Committee spent the entire day conveying the importance of Job Security.
The Company was more concerned with their “image” and presented us with a revised Business Attire MOA.
Your Committee utilized today’s session to address the Company’s blatant continued use of contractors as opposed to YOU, skilled trained labor. The Company’s position is they can’t hire or supply required equipment/tools to meet service demands (“the fiber build”), which is why they continue to employ contractors. The Committee continued to hammer home that FIOS Jobs of the Future is and should remain the members work – thus resulting in job security for OUR future.
