We Deserve Better from UnWired
CWA District 9 has been helping broadband technicians in the Central Valley form a union. Unwired Broadband is a Fresno-based company. An overwhelming majority of these workers are showing public support for our Union. CWA District 9 entered into a Stipulated Election Agreement with Unwired Broadband and the National Labor Relations Board. Since then UnWired Broadband has FIRED 4 Technicians!
This is one of the first NLRB elections CWA has filed at the Board since Trump began dismantling the National Labor Relations Board. Clearly, employers feel emboldened in this new world to violate the law with impunity.
UnWired receives FFA Grants (State and Federal) this Action Network is to contact the CPUC and ask that they contact the company to inquire about the union organizing campaign and investigate unWired for compliance with grant requirements.
