Your bargaining team met among ourselves today, waiting for the company’s response to the proposals we passed yesterday, which we feel represented a fair set of work rules and benefits which you deserve.  The company has informed us that they will not be finished until tomorrow with a counter offer.

We understand your frustration and appreciate your patience as we continue to work for a fair and equitable contract which will benefit every member in the District.

We ask that you continue your mobilization efforts as they prove to be very effective.
