Elected Officials Voice Their Concerns with AT&T

Elected officials are lining up to support us! Today we released a letter featuring the signatures and support of dozens of elected officials in our region. These mayors, city council members and state senators are just as fed up as we are. In the letter, they castigate AT&T over the Company’s obscene executive compensation, offshoring practices and unmet promises to our communities. CWA District 9 Vice President, Tom Runnion delivered electronic copies of this letter today to both Randall Stephenson and Mark Royse.

Several Mayors throughout California will participate in a Press Call today to explain why they signed on to the letter of support and how AT&T’s Greed hurts their communities.

Their support is a big victory for us and signifies that the tide continues to move in our favor. Under this increasing pressure AT&T is finding it harder and harder to get away with these greedy practices.
