New Members Local 9412 Pimentel Communications

President Keith Gibbs is pleased to announce that Local 9412 has organized 18 new members at Pimentel Communications, a family owned low voltage telecommunications company.  After 3 months of negotiations, we have reached an agreement that has been ratified overwhelming by the members.  This is their first contract and here are some of the highlight:
* 3 year agreement* wage increase- 9% over the 3 years (each member received an automatic raise between $1.20-$4.40 upon ratification)* added 3 holidays* added 1% increase to their 401K plan* added seniority language* established a safety committee* medical paid at 100% by employer* added dental and vision coverage* established a grievance process* per diem at the federal rate
